The Oceania Champions League 2007 was held in January 2007 with six clubs from five member associations of the Oceania Football Confederation: New Zealand, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Fiji and the Solomon Islands. The six clubs were split into two groups of three for home and away matches.
Auckland City qualified as the reigning champions of the OFC Champions Cup. The other 5 teams gained their qualifications due to their domestic league performances. Following the withdrawal of Vanuatu’s Port Vila Sharks, the OFC awarded a second berth to Waitakere United, the leader after the first round of the current New Zealand Football Championship.
The two group winners met in a home and away grand-final at April 21 and 28, 2007. The winner claimed Oceania’s US$1 million (NZ$1.41 million) berth in the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan the following December.
